Dear Friends,

A transformative event, in the last week, prompted our moving up the date of the next post. Given Gabrielle Giffords’ Jewish background and activities, we especially wanted to honor her during this extremely difficult time of recovery. As an outstanding public servant, she is a woman who most certainly embodies the qualities of one who seeks to repair the brokenness in our world. We know you join us in prayers and hopes for her healing and well being. Please see the table of contents and links below for more information about this extraordinary woman who is suffering because of incomprehensible evil.

We look forward to connecting with you again later in February. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your engagement in the project and continued enthusiastic response and interest in the blog.

Best wishes,

Harriet and Bill

    E-mail from Frank Harris:

Thanks friends for sharing not only your concerns about Gabrielle Giffords recovery but pointing out her contribution for a greater understanding among all the people. She deserves it not only because she is a member of the House of Representative-not only because she is Jewish-but because she is such a decent human being,-a symbol for all of us May all our prayers for her recovery be answered to allow her to continue her decent way of life in bringing people to-gether Much love to both you from the Harris’s Frank and Beri..
