 Dear Friends,

In this summer post, we are happy to welcome on board, Lyssa Fils-Aimé Hargrove, who is our new editor for the Haiti Now section. We look forward to receiving her submissions on a quarterly basis; the next time will be the September Fall post. Thank you Lyssa for your work on behalf of the project. Please see her introduction which details her connections with the Jewish community growing up and as a college student.

We will be taking a summer break so look for the next long post in September and in the meantime, selected items that we feel are particularly significant will be posted.

We are delighted to note that as of today, the blog has had over 15,500 views. Please spread the word to people you think will be interested in being on our e-mail list.

We deeply appreciate your involvement and hope to hear from you during the summer regarding personal concerns and/or issues you would like us to focus on.

All the best,

 Harriet and Bill
