Dear Friends,

We were very pleased to learn Professor Dina Porat, Head of the Kantor Center at Tel Aviv University is chairing two critically important events as shown below. CLICK HERE to view her Tikkun Olam Award (#16) and biographical information.

Of particular significance to us is tomorrow’s conference on “Contemporary Dutch Jewry,” because Amsterdam was the hiding place for Bill’s Aunt Elsbet and Uncle Robert, until they were captured and deported to Auschwitz. CLICK HERE for their extraordinary story and photographs.

Looking back at 2011, we are immensely grateful to all the persistent individuals, organizations and educational institutions who took up the task of shining a new and brighter light on issues surrounding anti-Semitism. We believe all these efforts will have a much needed positive galvanizing impact on how we face the current worldwide demonstrations of increased anti-Semitism.

All the best,

Harriet and Bill
