Dear Friends,

As we move closer to March 31st, 2012, the second anniversary of our blog, it was especially meaningful and timely to be interviewed by The Almanac, our local newspaper.

We are delighted with the results of our interview with The Almanac and think you will enjoy learning more details about Bill’s family’s journey.

Thank you for your continued interest,

Harriet and Bill

Shortly after the release of The Almanac article, we received the following e-mail:

Bill and Harriet,

I truly enjoyed reading the article in The Almanac. I learned a lot, not only about Haiti welcoming Jewish refugees during World War II, but also more about both of you. I look forward to reading the book you are writing about Bill’s family. Let me know when it will be released and where I can get a copy.

The world needs more people like you. People to care deeply about experiences in the past and helping to make sure that people won’t forget them in the future.

Thank you for sharing your story with our community and those beyond.
