URGENT: Iranian threat alert

Iran continues to move closer to achieving its goal of attaining nuclear weapons. The International Atomic Energy Agency’s latest report unequivocally confirms the major progress in Iran’s nuclear weapons program. I don’t need to tell you the extreme danger a nuclear-armed Iran would pose to America, Israel, and our other allies. Iran’s leaders have repeatedly called for Israel to be “wiped from the map,” and for “death to America.” As the leading state sponsors of terrorism, Iran can be expected to act on its words.

We can’t afford to let the Iranian regime achieve its goal — and now there’s a way you can help.
Congress is working now on legislation to impose crippling sanctions that could end Iran’s nuclear
weapons program once and for all.The Senate just voted to sanction Iran’s Central Bank, which
will severely hamper Iran’s ability to sell its oil and could threaten the regime’s stability.Thank your Senators for UNANIMOUSLY supporting the amendment by Senators Menendez (D-NJ)
and Kirk (R-IL) to sanction the Central Bank of Iran.

It is vital for constituents like you to keep the momentum in Congress going strong. Write your
Senators today thanking them for their important vote and ask your Representatives to support
sanctions legislation pending in the House that will cripple Iran’s ability to build nuclear weapons:

We all know that the Iranian regime is violently anti-Semitic and anti-Israel and that they actively
train, finance and arm terrorists on a global scale. This is proof enough that Iran’s progress toward
nuclear weapons is a threat we cannot afford to ignore.

The threat of a nuclear armed Iran is clear. Our response must be fast, forceful and unequivocal.

Thank you for taking immediate action on this timely and critical issue.
